not to be preachy… but yeah

Leaving out the fact that some people cannot cut meat out of their diet and that trying to eliminate meat consumption can actively harm some marginalized cultures….

Completely eliminating meat from the diet of every person on the planet would not stop climate change. Because the other industries responsible for the astronomical amount of CO 2 emissions would still exist. Still be turning a profit. Still be voting climate change deniers into our government.

We need to target them to get this mess under control. We need to vote and take action. Yes, we can also work to better the meat industry. But eliminating it competently is not only literally impossible, but would actively negatively impact a lot of people.
